Two-factor authentication
Last updated · 6 June 2026 · 4 min read
Turn on TOTP-based 2FA, save recovery codes, and what to do if you lose your device.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a one-time code from your phone to the sign-in step. Even if someone learns your password, they can't sign in without your device.
Turn it on
- Go to Settings → Security.
- Click Enable 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator).
- Enter the 6-digit code your app shows to confirm.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Recovery codes
We give you ten one-time recovery codes. Print or download them. If you lose your phone, you can sign in with a recovery code and reset 2FA.
If you lose your device and your codes
Email support@ughoron.com from the address attached to your account. We'll verify your identity (this can take 24–48 hours) and reset 2FA. This is intentionally slow — it's the only way to be safe.
