Sharing & real-time collaboration

Share a document by link or by email, set view/comment/edit access, and see who's in the document.
Every Edit, Slides, and Digits document supports real-time collaboration. You see live cursors, edits merge, and there's no “save and reload” ritual.

- Open the document.
- Click Share in the top right.
- Pick the access level: View, Comment, or Edit.
- Copy the link and send it.
Public links can be turned off any time from the same dialog. Once off, the link is dead.
Share by email
Type someone's email in the Share dialog. They get an invitation, and the document appears in their Shared with me list.
Seeing who's in the doc
Avatars of currently-active collaborators appear at the top right. Their cursors show in their colour, with their name in a small label.
Comments
Select text, press Ctrl/⌘ + Alt + M, write the comment. Comments support threaded replies and resolve.
